June is a done deal - now for July......

Congrats….  We have now made it through June!!!  It is Safe to say the biggest crunch is over as far as the majority of the quick flipping of the rooms!

However…there are a few points we need to sharpen!!!  Laminated Room maps showing the occupied and dirty rooms - - -  where are they??   And does everyone at your desk know

when they check a guest out they need to circle the room to be cleaned?   This is essential to the CAs especially at the adult halls!   And sadly I must report, this is not happening….

Yes there are some staff that do this, and I thank you….however ALL Staff must mark the laminated maps as people check in or check out.  Every desk staff, full and part time,

need to be able to look at the floor plan and tell me what rooms are empty and dirty as well as empty and clean!  The CA staff should not have to wait for the desk staff to call

the HD or another desk clerk to find out where the floor plan is, what time a camp checks out…etc.

2nd point….  The CA staff will give you a courtesy call most of the time before they show up…..  Don’t just tell them okay….Share the information with your staff,

and work to make sure all your staff knows the rooms they need to make ready or clean!  It has been reported that the courtesy call is given – the hall is cheery and polite – but

that particular Staff person is gone by the time the CA crew gets to the Hall an hour or so later and the staff on duty is clueless – has no information and asks the CAs to come back later????

Does everyone on your staff know where to look in the contract to see when the camp is to be checked out?

Last – the BLOG – Above information is sometimes shared on the blog – problem is – all the staff are not utilizing the Blog, as in not blogging and/or reading it?  The Blog is more than a place to note

the $ and the flash drive particulars.  There are 2 parts to the Blog ----First is to write on it to share information and second is to read it so you have all the information!

Please follow the plan as discussed in training so July is good for all!

Any questions – don’t hesitate to call!
